We the people of the United States feel our safety is in question regarding certain elderly driver's who continue to renew their license without their driving abilities being questioned. It is a proven fact that many people have slower reaction times the older they get, with the slope widening per year at higher ages.
My suggestion is that once a person turns 68 years old, the next time they need their licence renewed, they must pass the driver's test again, and everytime after that once their license expires again. I also suggest to decrease the time their license expires as at higher ages, reaction time is slowed even more.
This is a matter of human safety, how important is human safety to the American citizens?
