Require elected officials to be subject to all new and existing laws without exception.

There are too many laws that are not applicable to elected officials. They are not subject to minority hiring rules, social security, and a plethora of legislative and regulatory rules. Why should they be able to pass laws that they are exempt from? This requirement should include a prohibition from any exemption that targets any elected official, their families, or their employees.
