Require elected officials to participate in health/retirement programs similar to those they represent.

As the president and congress are continually modifying various health, retirement, and other benefits of the citizens, there should be a law requiring that senators, congressmen, the vice-president, and the president should be required to participate in benefit plans that are similar or the same to those of many citizens. Special retirement, pension, and health care plans for congress and the president should be abolished. These elected officials should then be participants in the social security program, 401K programs, and should be offered health care options that are the same or similar to those available to the average electorate.
