require elected officials to perform their duties, in a responsible, ethical manner for the tax payers, not the lobbyist

When President Obama was voted for president for a second term, we the american people spoke very clearly.
Both the congress, and the senate should be required to fullfill the responsibilities of the jobs that they are hired to perform.
The common good for the american people should be paramount, without regard to the paid lobbyist that only have the sole interest of their employers.
The voters are essentially the employers, and if an official does not hold the common interest of his employers in mind, he should be released from duty.
