Require employers to give an employee a 2 week notice prior to releasing any employee from their position.

Employers are allowed to release an employee from their position without any warning of impending discharge. However, an employee must give an employer a 2 week notice when planning to separate from a company. This is so a company is able to quickly replace the departing employee. We should be given equal consideration so we can seek to replace what we are about to lose and possibly avoid having to collect unemployment and lessen the impact on our families. The "At Will" law states that a working relationship may be terminated for any reason by either party without liability to either party. However, it is considered a negative mark against an employee who exercises this right and can prevent a job offer. This seems unconstitutional and should changed.
