Require employers to offer Paid Maternity Leave to all women they employ in career positions.

I am starting this petition for Paid Maternity Leave for all career American women. As career women we work hard in our job fields to earn money. Many of us are the head of our households which makes our income the livelihood of our families. We play an important role not only at home with our families but in our careers as well. Bringing a newborn baby home should be one of the most joyous occasions of our lives yet without paid leave the financial burden our families face can quickly become a depressing time. Numerous women at this time are also prone to experience Post Partum Depression as well.Therefore it is a very important time to maintain financial stability in the home. All hard working career women of our country deserve Paid Maternity Leave.
