Under the Affordable Care Act, employers currently are NOT required to cover the children of their retirees to age 26. Only CURRENT employees' children are afforded this protection. Retirees' employers are allowed to dodge this this cost, in direct opposition to the spirit of the ACA.
Let's urge Congress to either amend the law or, in the alternative, President Obama should issue an Executive Order closing this loophole.
