On January 12, 2016, Enos Stan Kronke weaseled his way into moving the St. Louis Rams back to Los Angeles. While Los Angeles may be the original home of the Rams, the way in which Mr. Kronke and the NFL handled the matter was a despicable illustration of crony capitalism.
Mr. Kronke is named after Enos Slaughter and Stan Musial, both Veterans and deceased baseball legends of the St. Louis Cardinals. Both individuals are highly praised as great St. Louis-ans for their heroics on and off the field.
By ignoring ignoring the City of St. Louis and their efforts to retain an NFL team, lying on multiple occasions that he would not move the Rams, and then bashing the socioeconomic status of the region, Mr. Kronke has sufficiently demonstrated he does not deserve his name.
