Recent events including the Sandy Hook shooting have caused many outlets to call for stricter gun restrictions or outright gun bans. In these confusing times, We petition the Obama administration to have an open discussion and use the most up-to-date studies available, including the recently released study from the Harvard School of Law, prior to any congressional votes. The study is linked at the bottom of this petition. When dealing with Constitutional Rights issues, accuracy of information and integrity must be crucial factors in the discussion if we are to make the best decision for our country and its citizens.
