Require every member of congress to take a test about the law they are voting on before voting on it.

Created by J.G. on November 06, 2013

This petition would make it so that our elected officials truly know what they are voting on instead of being a rubber stamp for their party's agenda. Once legislation comes out of it's committee it is introduced along with a written test that will ask questions on what the law does, how it does it, and the economic or societal impact it will have based in projections from the cbo or other official government storekeepers. Until all members of both houses, not just enough to pass or reject a bill, have passed the test with at least 75% correct, the legislation can not be voted on. This will apply to the president before signing the bill in to law.
