Require every public school facility in the United States to require a Police Presence on the premises during class

In the wake of multiple school shootings in this country, our children's safety MUST become a priority. This petition's goal is to see to that. If a state or local government is going to require children in their district to attend public schools at a minimum, then there must be a police presence on the grounds of said school at all times when children are present. Tightening gun control will only serve to harm law abiding citizens by disarming them from criminals who will not take heed of new gun laws. Every school, from preschool to universities that receive money from taxpayers for funding must comply. It is ludicrous to require students to attend school without any protection from outside threats.
