Require every working citizen to receive a pay raise if minimum wage is increased.

The White House is proposing raising the national minimum wage to $10.10 per hour. That is a near 40% increase. If the White House insists on doing this, what about everyone else who has worked hard for years, gained knowledge and made themselves valuable? They have differentiated themselves from an entry-level worker and provided value to their employer which has been financially rewarded. If minimum wage increases, their wages should be adjusted as well to reflect that differentiation. For instance, a 43 year old who entered the work force at 16 starting at $3.35 an hour who now makes $60,000 per year should earn $120,000 per year based on the new $10.10 per hour minimum wage ($10.10 is roughly 3 times $3.35). Yes this is absolutely absurd but so is a $10.10 minimum wage.
