Unfortunately, we live in a time of great division. Indeed, Tens of Thousands of US Citizens - Teachers, Soldiers, Business Owners, Students, Retired Persons et al. - have signed petitions indicating their desire for their state to peacefully withdraw from the Union (which, by the way, the Sovereign States created). Rather than attempting to understand the many reasons for these sentiments in order to alleviate the situation, certain individuals have opted to create or sign a petition with the purpose of deporting people who hold these views.
Whether or not Secession is the correct answer for is at this time, it is absolutely horrifying for Americans to make calls for the exile of fellow citizens based on political opinions. Please, if this describes you, read the Constitution 100 times.
