require expiration dates on perishable food/merchandise to be set in a large easily identified type/print on front of packaging. As a matter of public health Expiration dates should no longer be allowed to be in small dark print in hard to find locations, or barely embossed on products. They should be located on the front of packaging with a font no less than a quarter of the size of the main logo. This information should be easily found and identified.
