Require farmers to plant windbreaks along the borders of their fields in order to control soil erosion and drifting snow

Created by S.S. on January 03, 2013

We ask that the Federal Government require all farmers throughout the nation be required to plant windbreaks along the borders of their fields.

With rising crop prices, farmers are slashing and burning countless acres of woodland across the country. These actions combined with the 2012 drought have caused increased winds and blowing sands throughout the summer and blowing and drifting snow in the winter.

A system of windbreaks will help slow the increased soil erosion and help keep roads clear in the winter and safer for travel.
