It is a fact of life that Americans must balance their own household budgets regularly. If we sink into debt, we pay for it dearly. To allow the Federal Government to not be held accountable on a regular basis for their financial decisions is unacceptable. Require our government to balance its financial situation annually. The debt America now experiences must never be allowed to happen again.
