The proposition being petitioned is the motion to require the federal government to ban open carry laws in all 50 states, allowing only law enforcement agents to openly display a firearm in public. In addition to removing open carry laws, only those who properly carry a permit, ID, and display a signifying wristband shall be deemed authorized to continue carrying a firearm in a concealed fashion.
By implementing this ban, we aim for less unwanted exposure to guns, which will lead to reduced gun violence and gun-related deaths. In addition to instilling safer communities by promoting less tolerance for guns, possessing a gun is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly with slack laws. It's important that we prove that our communities can be safe environments free of violence.
