There are approximately 1.75 million homeless people in the United States that are out on the street every single night. 66 percent of those people either have drinking, drugs, or mental issues. If those people were able to afford mental care, they might end up improving socially, mentally, and physically enough to get a good education if they don't already have one and that could lead to paying jobs that would strengthen the workforce, reduce homelessness and unemployed rates, and also end up in the government getting more tax money from the individuals now having taxable jobs.
