To require the film industry to reinstate and enforce the Motion Picture Production Code commonly known as the Hays Code

The purpose of this petition is to ask the Federal Government to require the film industry to reinstate the Hays code. We the people petition this because we believe that immoral content in our films has gotten out of hand, and we need to stop this madness in order to protect our children and the moral fabric of our society. We believe that films should be edifying not degrading.
