Require the food industry to pay their employees

It is not required in all states that a business pay it's employees, and this usually applies to the food industry. Employees rely on tips to make up for the lower wage, and it should not be the customer's responsibility to pay the employees of an establishment. Not only that, but not every state requires that the employers pay a minimum wage in the food industry, and some servers and bartenders only make their wages off of the tips they are given. This needs to stop. These employees cannot make a decent living on only tips in an economy that doesn't even support those living on minimum wage. Please sign the petition in support of these employees and help them receive minimum wage.
