As of now, companies that manufacture products containing cheese are not required to disclose the source of the rennet used on their labels. This makes it difficult for vegetarians or people who want to avoid animal rennet to know where it came from, and would be an easy change. Right now, only a very small amount of companies write "does not contain animal rennet" on their packaging.
