Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is a food additive found in most processed foods and fast foods. Many people are sensitive to MSG, and it can cause or exacerbate illness. Some problems linked to MSG intake are:
Weight gain
Brain damage
Liver inflammation
Anxiety
& much more!
The FDA currently allows companies to LIE about whether a product contains MSG. In fact, more than 40 different ingredients contain the chemical found in MSG!
MSG can cause a serious reaction in some people. After the peanut scare, companies are now required to specify whether a product was made in a facility that may have, at one point, made peanuts. Lets do the same for MSG. The FDA needs to require that ALL products be marked CLEARLY, if they contain MSG or not!
