We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Require food with Non-GMO labels to add a disclaimer

Created by S.N. on September 05, 2016

Corporations are currently profiting off of the fear of food containing genetically engineered ingredients. Research indicates that consumers are inferring products with a "NON-GMO" label are in some way healthier, and the FDA considers these labels to be misleading and confusing. To protect US consumers and families, products with these labels should include a disclaimer that no significant difference has been shown between products containing genetically engineered ingredients, and those without.
