Require food packaging-frozen meals, candy,etc- sold in the US to specify the country where the product was manufactured

I want all food packaging that is sold in US stores to show the country where the product was manufactured. Ideally this info would be incorporated into the nutrition label info as it would appear in the same spot on all packaging & be of a font size large enough to easily read. I care about where the food I am going to eat is made & who is making it. I want all of us to live happy & healthy lives. I think we should know where food is made and decide for ourselves whether we want to buy or not. This issue came to light after I noticed that Dole Fruit Bowls (in juice) are Made in China. I don't even understand why our food is coming from China. We need jobs and they have terrible food safety issues. This is the 1st step, making everyone admit to where they're making our food.
