People think the oil and gas boom is good for the economy. But since use of fossil fuels causes global warming, and we may be unable to reverse it in 10 years, a boom in oil and gas is not good for the economy. An unliveable planet for ourselves and future generations is not good for the economy. Fracking causes pollution and releases methane, the most dangerous greenhouse gas. Fracking to produce oil must stop. Fracking for natural gas must stop, unless it is made safe, and unless we are moving quickly to replace it with renewable energy sources.
