Fruit juice packaging no longer lists the country or countries of origin. In order to make informed decisions in the global marketplace, reward countries that regulate harmful or excessive use of pesticides, and stop rewarding countries that abuse prisoner labour or use slave labour, or otherwise engage in human rights abuses, American consumers must be given the information already available to the producers and packagers of this important consumable product.
We petition the administration to immediately execute by Executive Order, and then introduce legislation to Congress, to require all fruit juices and fruit products be labelled with their country or countries of origin.
