REQUIRE GMO LABELING AND ALLOW CONSUMERS THE RIGHT TO DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES WHAT THEY FEED THEIR FAMILIES

The food industry is spending a HUGE amount of $ to prevent the public from having the right to choose for themselves what they eat and feed their families, by manipulating the public through deceptive advertising and online articles, all to prevent the requirement that they simply label all consumer products that are genetically modified and give the public the right to choose what they put into their bodies. Think about it. There is only ONE TRUE REASON THE INDUSTRY DOES NOT WANT TO LABEL GMO FOODS...BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT IT IS GENETICALLY MODIFIED AND POTENTIALLY CHOOSE NOT TO BUY IT. This petition doesn't prevent GMO food production. It only asks that GMO food be labeled as such, giving WE THE PEOPLE THE CHOICE WE DESERVE TO MAKE FOR OURSELVES!
