We, the People, ask that all Congresspeople and Senators, upon election or re-election be required, by law, to live for one quarter of their first year of service (3 full months) on:
An average Social Security payment of $1,300.00 a month plus food stamps.
or:
The proposed Federal Minimum Wage of $10.10 an hour, plus food stamps.
The purpose of this 3-month "service" would be to teach the elected official, by example, how many of the Congresspeople and Senator's constituents live.
