Require greater balance in the hiring of non-degreed persons with adequate work experience into Federal Civil Service.

Created by T.A. on December 16, 2012

Obtaining a Federal Civil Service job without a college degree is no easy task. Current technologies allow for electronic filtering of applicant resumes and those without college degrees may be dismissed without ever having a human set of eyes laid on the resume. Candidates who apply for Civil Service positions lacking a college degree, with commensurate industry or position specific experience should receive equal consideration. Additionally, the process of qualifying for and obtaining a Federal Civil Service job must be more transparent.
