We have seen it all in this nation. Too many lives have been lost due to gun shootings in particular, schools. Schools and universities have been considered an education safe haven. Students all over the nation are allowed to get an education at these institutions and are able to call these places a home. However, this home's safety has now been threatened because of guns. All this petition is asking for is a simple background check for those who purchase guns. Anyone who is mentally ill should not be in possession of guns. A simple background check can save many lives and so parents do not have to plan their children's funeral.
