Require that public schools teach basic gun safety in public schools. This would include: how to safely handle a gun, and how to safely store a gun. By teaching gun safety like this, it will reduce accidents by poor firearms handling, teach children the seriousness of firearms if they every discover one and instruct the next generation how to safely store guns.
