Require a high school diploma or its equivalent for federal financial aid qualification.

Our public education system is a free social program put in place to offer all Americans the means to become productive members of our society. If an able citizen is unwilling to take advantage of this, then they should be denied all future forms of federally funded social assistance until they are able to meet all necessary requirements. Enacting this would urge more people to acquire the basic skills necessary to become financially independent and relieve much of the burden on the federal budget and the American tax payer. Exemptions would include those with diagnosed mental or physical conditions that are considered severe enough to prevent them from attaining this required credential.
