The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) should be required to amend practices in regards to veteran's hiring. Currently VRA and VEOA are inadequate and frequently not properly enforced in filling federal positions. 100% disabled veterans should be selected for any position for which they meet the minimum qualifications, whether through experience OR education. Our 100% disabled veterans are not finding adequate employment when they are discharged by the military and they and their families suffer economically and emotionally. Please support our disabled veterans by seeing that the federal government is required to give TRUE preferential hiring to them who have served and sacrificed so much for our country.
