In the event of a government shutdown, which would result in a stoppage of pay to civilian government personnel and/or members of the Armed Forces, also immediately halt pay to the members of Congress and the current administration. In order for our leadership to show their commitment to the well-being of our people, they must prove a willingness to sacrifice alongside us when their decisions (or lack thereof) cause us strife.
