Genetically Modified Crops have not been adequately addressed by this government through independent testing for the health of our population, and the safety of small farms, our soils and watersheds. To use GMO seed, one must use Monsanto pesticides which are responsible for increasing the risk of super weeds and the disappearance of beneficial pollinators, and impacting our food supply.
All testing is done in-house with an obvious bias. Monsanto crops endanger other food sources through pollination contamination. In the case of organics and pure seed production, this is devastating to local economies. When contamination does occur, Monsanto sues the farmer for patent infringement. Stop allowing this mega corporation to direct the future of our food supply.
