Informed consent is required for medical procedures that have risk of harm, but is not required of gmo cultivation, which has little to no long term studies on exposure to gmo pollen or control chemicals. Treating the public as hapless guinea pigs in pursuit of the greatest profit is immoral and a violation of our human rights.
