Require insurance companies and healthcare providers to be transparent about what patient costs will be before service.

So often, people who are insured have no idea what their costs may be before even basic services; even if they call their insurance provider and ask the physicians office ahead of time. I would like for these groups to be required to put a system in place that would allow for the determination of costs before services are provided and bills have been incurred. Emergency procedures should be the only ones of potentially uncertain cost.
