Insurance companies should be required to cover the more expensive prescription medications that are for people that have a long term illness like Enbrel which most insurance companies only will cover up to a certain amount per year and then the patient has to pay for the rest. (EX: 1 insurance company will only pay 3000.00 per Year on prescriptions annually) which includes generic and brand name. Patients need more help with this. Because and insurance company ought to know that it takes more than 3000 a year for a person that has a long term disease like RA or MS. Please Help. We pay out to have insurance but we seem to get the raw end of the deal.
