Companies like Facebook and Google refuse to honor Do Not Track requests from internet browsers. It's time for the US Government to step in and demand they do so. Now that the FCC has classified broadband as a public utility, it has the power to demand companies honor Do Not Track requests and assure privacy protections for internet users.
