Police continue to overstep their boundaries and power by attacking citizens on video (such as in the Kelly Thomas case) and are allowed to walk away as if no crime was committed. This is something that needs to be addressed before we Americans stop accepting the harassment that some of the officers put forward. We the people ask for both federal and state governments to create an investigations department OUTSIDE the scope of law enforcement. We need the proper checks and balances IMMEDIATELY.
