Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO's) are a contested topic as to their safety and viability in their use in our food chain. Regardless of whether for or against their use in food for human consumption via direct or indirect links, it should be a consumer right to know if GMO's are in the food that we eat.
This petition specifically asks the administration to work with the Congress to establish a basic, easy to understand labeling requirement to alert the consumer of GMO's use in food, as is the case with 64 other countries.
