Require, by law, all airlines to seat a parent with a minor under the age of twelve if they are traveling together.

Airlines should be required to sit children with at least one parent if they are traveling together. I have recently taken a trip where I booked a flight months in advance and reserved seats. When I arrived at the airport, I was told my son did not have a seat and they could not sit us together. On this same flight, this also happened to a family with an infant and a two year old. This is completely unacceptable if the family has already reserved seats. Other passengers do not want to sit by a child who is not supervised and the experience can be traumatizing for the child.
