1. Mandate all federal law enforcement officers use body cameras.
2. Encourage state and local agencies to mandate the use of body cameras by requiring such agencies in receipt of federal grants to do so.
3. Create a grant program to assist state and local agencies to purchase and implement a body camera program.
Body Cameras are an affordable solution to protect both the public and officers. This is a simple step the White House and Congress can take to facilitate trust between police and citizens.
