require legisators to disclose their attendance/voting records while Congress is in session to evaluate their work ethic

Created by M.N. on January 18, 2013

I would like to know what the people we are electing are doing. I think their attendance and voting records would help us determine how frequently they show up to work and if they are doing anything once they get there.

I also think it is highly unlikely that a legislator can accomplish more on a golf course or cruise ship than he can from his office. So I do not see this as work; it is an absence.

I want these work records so I can determine who to hire to represent me. If people are not coming to the office, or they are not doing anything when they do get their we don't want them looking after our affairs. If they are too sick to do anything we don't want them representing us.

Lets get these legislators to adhere to the same type of work ethic that average Americans do.
