Require lenders to lower manufactured home interest rates to align with non-manufactured home interest rates

Created by V.D. on March 23, 2012

All lenders should offer manufactured home owners the same competitive interest rates for loans comparable to the Loan Modification or similar programs where upside down homes can refinance the amount owed only, since no equity exisits.

Greentree Service Inc, advised us upon request for lowering the interest rate that "they don't do that", no explanation.

We are at 10%, the house is in very good condition, purchased in 1996, it is on a permanent foundation on private land. Manufactured homeowners should be afforded the same benefits of historically low interest rates as non-manufactured homeowners. The term "manufactured home" and "mobile home" is used interchangably the key word being "home".
It is a crime to be charged 10% when rates are at an all time low.

Thank you for your help.
