Many Life Insurance Companies across the United States deny senior citizens over the age of 85 life insurance policies. It is at those ages that senior citizens need life insurance more so than citizens in their sixties, seventies and early eighties.
If a senior citizen over the age of 85 passes away without a life insurance policy, then that citizen's family is going to have to bear the grief and burden of burying a loved one at their own expense.
Funerals are expensive and money should be the last issue when a loved one dies, expected or otherwise. For countless years, the cost of funerals and addressing life insurance has been eschewed by the US government and the time for change is now. We owe this to our elders and our posterity.
