At present Lowe's Home Improvement Centers, a HUGE do-it-yourself supply chain headquartered in North Carolina, has no medical pay insurance for customers injured on its premises. Injured customers are denied a copy of any accident report, told to seek medical assistance at a health-care provider near its location and that "Lowe's will take care of the bill", and then RENEGES on paying the bill. This is done to save on its operating costs at the expense of injured customers and the lessen the chance that a customer, burdened with a newly created considerable medical bill, will have funds available to retain an attorney to sue Lowe's Home Improvement Centers. The overwhelming majority of attorneys WILL NOT take such cases on contigency and will require a large retainer.
