It is a widely known problem that many people on welfare or other types of assistance from the government use the money they receive (from taxpayers) unresponsably, often times in the purchase of drugs which naturally deters people from being productive members of society. Therefore it should be a requirement to take a drug test regularly, as long as the person is on assistance.
