Require mandatory drug testing for Congress and the Senate.

Why shouldn't our elected officials be held to the same ethical standards that they expect of the American public? Surely, any government official who wants to require mandatory drug testing for welfare and food stamp recipients would have no issue leading by example and submitting to the same testing. If people who receive assistance from the government are a drain on the system and have no right to privacy, then people who collect a paycheck from that same government should be subject to equal scrutiny.
