I suggest the following.
1) REQUIRE mandatory yearly classes in ALL publicly funded schools for teaching students about employment and employment responsibilities. This includes colleges that get public funding.
2) REQUIRE ANY publicly funded school to network with local businesses and remote businesses.
3) REQUIRE the students to complete public services that are equivalent to on the job training and/or a internship.
Getting students employed and self sufficient should be one of the top, if not the top, priority of any and all publicly funded schools.
Public Colleges and High Schools should be held accountable based on the success of this BUILT IN system.
